Agnes Nancy Shawhan

Also written as Nancy — used throughout the source and in her mother's deposition in place of "Agnes"

Third child of Daniel Shawhan Jr. and Margaret Bell — sibling of John Shawhan (direct line, Gen 4), not herself part of the traced direct line to Spencer. Married into the Williams family.

  3. about 1797-98Traveled to Kentucky, stayed several weeks, then returned to Pennsylvania, accompanied by her mother Margaret on that return trip; per the Pugh lawsuit record, sold her own 1/7th interest in her father's 130 acres via a deed with her husband, recorded Allegheny Co., Pa., September 1822 (six or seven years after her father's May 1791 death, per her mother's 1830 deposition)
  4. 16 Oct 1853Isaac's will probated, Allegheny Co., Pa.
